thinfilms 813641028 9e2dfcd967 Pup TrailerWe are in search of the perfect trailer for our pups. Well, we only have one pup now, Meta, but three weeks from now we will have the addition of Frankie.

Pollee and I do a lot of stuff on our bikes, including commuting to and from work. We’re seeking just the right pup trailer that will help us use them more, especially when we want to bring the pups along on trips around the city, to parks, down to the river, on short errands, etc.

We’ve started looking at the obvious choices, such as the Burley Tail Wagon, the CycleTote DoggyTote, BikesAtWork and others, but the other day we saw a couple riding on the Diagonal Trail with the coolest pup wagon we’ve seen so far. It was designed much like the CycleTote version only longer and with more heavy-duty-ness.

The search will continue but, until then, we still haven’t found the science.

*thanks to Hoaryhead for the pic of the CycleTote in action

For those of us who commute on our bicycles to work each day, this is our worst nightmare : yesterday at 4:23 a.m. officers in the Fifth Precinct were dispatched to a report of the body of a man in the roadway at Excelsior Boulevard and West 32nd Street. When officers arrived they found the body of a male in his sixties lying in the street. It appears that the victim had been riding his bicycle eastbound on Excelsior Boulevard when he was struck by a vehicle and killed. The driver left the scene and made no report.

Thus, the Minneapolis Police Department is seeking our help in locating the driver and vehicle responsible for this. The vehicle should have significant front end damage. Anyone with information please call the T.I.P.S. line at 612-692-TIPS (8477).

Hug the ones you love today.
